Ingredients

  • Thailand, a land of rich cultural heritage and natural wonders, is one of the world's leading producers of silk. Globally, the silk industry faces a significant challenge: an estimated 400,000 tons of dry silk cocoons are produced annually, resulting in approximately 50,000 tons of sericin - a protein largely discarded as waste.

This lustrous fiber holds a secret. Silk is composed of two main proteins: fibroin (70-80%) and sericin (20-30%). While fibroin becomes the silk we wear, sericin is typically discarded during production, contributing to environmental concerns worldwide. At MANYASIRI, we upcycle this silk waste into skincare that's as kind to the environment as it is to your skin.

Ingredients we formulate with

Silk Sericin

Sericin, derived from discarded silk cocoons, is a protein powerhouse for skin health. Rich in amino acids and antioxidants, it shields against environmental stressors while forming a protective, hydrating layer on the skin. Sericin evens skin tone, supports elasticity, and enhances natural repair processes.

Vitamin E

Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant with dual moisturizing and defensive properties. It combats environmental aggressors that can prematurely age skin while providing deep hydration. Acting as a shield against UV damage, Vitamin E offers both nourishment and protection.

Niacinamide

Niacinamide, also known as Vitamin B3, helps refine skin texture, minimize the appearance of pores, and regulate sebum production. It also helps to fade dark spots and reinforce the skin's protective barrier.

Peptides

Composed of short chains of amino acids, peptides help boost collagen production. They're natural signaling agents, encouraging the skin to repair and renew itself. By promoting firmness and elasticity, peptides help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, helping maintain a youthful, resilient complexion

Essential Oils

Essential Oils are concentrated plant extracts that offer a multitude of skincare benefits. These aromatic compounds provide natural fragrance while delivering potent therapeutic properties. From soothing inflammation to balancing sebum production, essential oils can address various skin concerns. They also possess antimicrobial qualities, helping to purify the skin. When used mindfully, essential oils enhance both the sensory experience and efficacy of skincare products.
